Linux is great, no denial of it (I am using it for some things, too), but let's face it - it's not the best system for gaming as it still is for a very minor group of players and so there aren't many natively supported games, because it's simply not worth it for developers/publishers. I wouldn't expect BF6 will be any different in that regard.
This hasn't been true for a while now. Windows is still built on Window NT 3.1, nothing runs well on Windows anymore. Proton on Wayland consistently see's an uptick in performance on almost every single game over running on Windows. Not to mention, anyone with half a brain is tired of Microsoft and will not be purchasing the next OS from them, as they have confirmed several times that it will be subscription based.
