Do the developers really dnot care about vehicles in BF6, especially aircraft?

Helicopters are especially vulnerable.  I've played every BF and this is the first one I can't fly helicopters without dying very shortly after.  I know there are techniques to avoid the multiple anti-air everywhere, but it's a ton of work.  

Sometimes I just want to fly reinforcements to a flag.  That's a chore without flying 5 meters from the ground and then risk RPG death.
