Don’t Let Operations Disappear After Augur

Honestly, with Operation Augur coming to an end, I think it’s a shame that it’s only temporary. It’s one of the most interesting modes we’ve had in BF6, especially for the sense of progression and teamwork.

I really hope they bring Operations back in future seasons, but this time as a permanent mode.

With the maps announced for 2026, there’s definitely potential to build something solid.

For example, with Cairo Bazaar and Siege of Cairo, it could make a great two-part operation: start in the market with close-quarters combat, then move into a larger-scale urban battle. That would create a real sense of progression instead of just switching maps.

Same idea for Season 4 — if the two new maps are in the same region (like Pacific islands), it could be an operation where you capture multiple strategic islands one after another.

In the end, with 2–3 well-designed operations, there would be enough variety to support making the mode permanent.

It would be a shame to lose this after Augur, because it really changes the pace of gameplay and encourages more teamwork.
