EA Never Learns?? BF6 Portal?!?

EA, the worst company in gaming history for endlessly overpromising and underdelivering.

How is it so utterly unfeasible to this company that we want to HOST and have a COMMUNITY with a SERVER BROWSER? It's utterly INSANE at this point that they are still absolutely clueless.

-> BF6 Launches. Can't host in portal due to excess servers.
-> Major Portal nerfs. No Masteries/challenges etc from bot servers.
-> Can't host in portal due to NEEDING bots to start the server
(CQ requires 32 players to start. Nobody can spawn while waiting. 32 people sitting for hours to start.)

Can you simply not concieve enabling mastery from player kills but not bot kills?? Is it THAT insanely wild of an idea??

I'm remaking custom maps from prior battlefield titles for portal. Quite a challenge given how poor the editor actually is, since you cannot remove or modify any existing map assets, and they provide NO proper flooring / ground / terrain, alongside it being impossible to edit terrain at all.

On top of being limited to the map of choices' asset list only. What a shocking lack of variety there is, yet an excess of so many replicas of the same building types just so they can have one with a board over the window instead. Bicicle stands, apples, bananas, trash-cans, and a plethora of tyre/sandbag/cardboard/decorative assets, but no FLOOR or decent WALL?

At the end of the day, what's the point for all of this anyway? We want to actually be able to play the game in a community and enjoy it together. Instead, we can't even get the server started, because finding 32 people with that much patience is genuinely impossible in OCE (which DOES have a lot of people playing in it, FYI).

TLDR:
Bring back the server browser like our ~500 page thread for 2042 requested!
Remove the XP mastery block for a Vanilla CQ Server having bot backfill - It's literally a validated default experience in community form, what the hell is wrong with these ppl's decisions??


Here I waste my time typing where they factually ignore despite an entire playerbases outrage anyway. Time to press refund and wait for a massive discount - if I rebuy at all. These intentionally ignorant people that always, flawlessly, destroy the best feature available......
