Esport plans?

Think this title could have great potential... Any plans for EA to support this or will it have to be community driven?

Thx

  • With net code like 2042, bf6 doesn't stand a chance, especially as an esport

  • This is pretty much a "streamer" take. Battlefield isn't a competitive game and there have been some attempts in the past to get this working, but it just doesn't really work. Making a game suitable for competitive play is a lot of work and it really isn't worth it unless the game itself is designed around it. The effort is better spent elsewhere.

There's basically no chance to have matches unless the portal browser is vastly different to allow you to pick sides/rearrange teams easily.

  • Truth is this isn't really a "competetive" game, most people tend to play to let off steam and chill with friends.

They have tried before, even in bf4 they tried with obliteration or whatever when you had to plant bombs at random spawning objectives.

I also don't think it will help the actual gameplay, too much balance stuff and changes would be made that would affect everyone.
