Extremely nerfed attack helicopter

Is it just me, or does the attack chopper feel even worse after the patch than it did before?
Guided missile goes way off aim, heavy rockets are inaccurate, and the worst of all, the flight model was reverted to the way it was in the beta.
As it is right now, the attack heli is completely and utterly worthless.
The thing was nigh useless before, only good for camping behind cover, unless you got a terrible enemy team with nobody that can hit RPG shots on Manhattan, but now, it's not even good for that, because the ordinance goes wherever it wants.

    Hey, sorry, but I don’t think getting stomped by a single helicopter was really part of the plan for this battlefield. And it’s obvious that the majority of the current player base prefers having a real chance and balanced gameplay when facing helicopters. In real life, a heli wouldn’t even last 10 seconds against properly equipped ground troops. So okay to modify some point on the flight model or bug on the aim. But nothing on the survivability.

  • I've gotten up to 43 mastery level in the helicopter pretty much on my own. I'd occasionally get a gunner who knows what they're doing. I'm pretty happy with the helicopter and the flight physics.

    What I'm not happy about is the RPG being so easy to take the helicopter down. Or the IFV/laser painting issues and getting blasted out of the air by everything that locks on once you're painted.

    Suggestions for fixing: Slow down the RPG rocket flight speed. I've used the RPG quite a bit against vehicles, and it takes hardly any skill.

    As for the laser painting issue, I'm not sure how this can be fixed besides giving an ECM jammer and making the flares work against the incoming missile. And to have a warning that a missile is incoming. As it is now, you're painted, then you're dead.

    FIX THE **bleep** TOW MISSILE, PLEASE!!! DICE broke this. The crosshairs do not work anymore, and it does not lock onto anything. So the description of the TOW missile in the loadout menu is completely wrong. Makes you wonder how wrong everything else is when reading the descriptions of weapon attachments.
