Feedback about Battlefield RedSec
Hello DICE team,
I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to take a moment to share my honest opinion and feedback about Battlefield RedSec. I’ve been playing since day one, and honestly, it feels like a refreshing and exciting experience in the Battle Royale genre. My intention with this message isn’t just to point out issues, but to share constructive suggestions that, from my perspective as an active player, could help improve the overall gameplay experience.
First, the movement. Battlefield has always been known for realism, and I love that, but I think the game would benefit a lot from smoother and faster movement. It doesn’t have to feel like Call of Duty, but it should feel more responsive and fluid when you move, aim, and engage in fights. Right now, it feels too heavy at times.
Second, the sound. Honestly, the audio needs a complete overhaul. There’s almost no difference between playing with headphones and playing through TV speakers. Enemy footsteps are inconsistent, and it’s hard to tell where sounds are coming from — sometimes you hear someone on your right, but they’re actually above or behind you. Battlefield has great visuals, but without good sound, you lose a huge part of the experience.
Third, the loot and armor system. The map is beautiful but way too big, and sometimes you can go hundreds of meters without finding anyone or decent loot. Plates (armor) are extremely rare. I get that Battlefield is traditionally played without plates, but RedSec is a Battle Royale — it needs its own identity and balance. More loot, especially armor plates, would make fights feel fairer and more consistent.
Also, the UAV system feels too slow. It takes too long to scan, and sometimes it doesn’t even detect enemies on the first pass. The minimap should also show vehicles like tanks or helicopters — it’s confusing that they don’t appear.
Finally, the TTK (time to kill) feels a bit off. Sometimes you melt instantly, other times it feels like you’re shooting rubber bullets. I think a small tweak there could make gunfights feel more rewarding and skill-based.
RedSec has huge potential, and I really hope you guys keep improving it. I’ve been a Battlefield fan for years, and I’d love to see this game become something special.
Thanks for reading — even if you don’t reply, I just wanted to share this because I believe in what you’re building.
