EA hasn't learned a thing over the years, and that will never change. Someday soon, we'll likely hear that they're ending support for Battlefield 6 and starting work on a new title—that's always the case... they don't care about us, and it's evident in their work.
With gems like Battlefield 3, 4, and Bad Company 2 in their gaming portfolio, they somehow can't even match their legacy in terms of what those titles offered and created. With today's design capabilities, experience, and likely the immense talent of their own designers, this should be a piece of cake... yet it's an impossible level to achieve.
Even replicating what was good in Battlefield 2042 (PORTAL) is a climb like Mount Everest for them.
