MITSNAS ignoring the fact that the disrespect was started by another guy flaming the team, and the severe jump in the punishment severity on a whim really makes your comment seem disingenuous. He was handed a fair punishment for the violation. The punishment was changed after the fact because it seems someone on the tos team had an axe to grind and is acting unprofessionally. Defending this is not the hill to die on man. Come on.
I think it is great that you are advocating for your friend but the bottom line is they chose to say what they said, they broke the rules and now they have to deal with the consequences of their actions.
Two wrongs do not make a thing right it is just exactly what it is, two wrongs.
One should never treat others badly in online gaming. 1. it is against the rules. 2. it is just not right and. 3 it can cost you your account etc.
Do not let others bait you and do not stoop to their level. Mute them if you can, ignore them, and report them.

Again, the punishment severity is the concern, not the punishment existing. If it was a 7 day ban, we wouldve just went along with it, i wouldnt have ever made this post, and he wouldve been salty and probably picked up the game more sparingly for a bit after the time passed, yknow? Like i said above, he did recieve the timed ban initially before it was just upgraded to a permaban with no stated reason for the escalation in severity.
Really the only defining factor in this post being made is the upgrade to a permaban with no warning on a first offense. The soapbox stance really ignores that. I do understand what youre trying to say, and i agree to a point on the moderation itself, but its not the point of my post at all.
