General feedback/Gripes
Good evening. First things first I’m really enjoying BF6 but I do have a few gripes, as always with a new game.
- AT mines. I understand they are supposed to be very powerful against vehicles but they are incredibly hard to spot and one hit completely destroys a tank. Increase visibility and perhaps if a mine is on its own and not in radius of another have it disable the vehicle and put it in a critical state instead of completely destroying it.
- Recon class. I thought this was perfect in the Beta. Having the spawn beacon definitely helped in breakthrough and you could keep a good vantage point when sniping, please revert it back! This has been a stable of battlefield for years. The glint visibility is now very poor. In the beta it gave players time to evade snipers or set up exciting 1v1 battles with another sniper. Now I can barely see them and tend to get put down for miles away, very difficult to evade if you’re on foot.
- Infantry controls on controller feel way of again in comparison to the beta. I’ve tweaked, watched videos and smoothed it out and it does feel much better than default was, but something just isn’t quite right. Not sure if it’s the bloom been slightly buggy or hit registration being off.
- Ammo. If supports aren’t using their utility’s or are nowhere near in Conquest for example you can run out of ammo very quickly. Maybe increase the starting ammo by a mag or two or put ammo crates around flags when captured.
Removing the green ring for the support class ammo bags has made it very difficult to actually know if you’re getting refilled. The symbol at the bottom of the screen just doesn’t stand out enough. A setting to enable the rings on or off would help, or make the icon at the bottom of the screen bigger. When it’s a tense firefight it’s hard to know if you’re getting refilled when you can’t see the supply bag and all hell is breaking loose.- audio in vehicles. Noticed in MBTs especially the engine noise will completely cut out, normally after a boost.
- I don’t know if this is a problem with Elite 2 controllers because I had this issue in BF2042, but sometimes in full auto fire especially with LMGs holding down the RT my gun can completely stop firing. It’ll resume after another trigger press but it can lead to losing a gunfight or just losing a target before you can get the final shot.
