netcode is bad indeed. typical battlefield though. the feeling of being one shot or killed after going into cover have been an issue with this series since forever. as a result i always play with the damage log on making me see what actually going on when i think i just got one shot or killed after i got into cover. too many ticks are going 99+. that means whoever shot you did it before your game client noticed, giving you the feeling of one shots, behind cover kills and enemy can shoot faster than you.
On the other hand this happens to everyone so many times you shoot someone who will have the same experience so it evens out.
It is very present in bf 2042 and waiting for bf6 i played bf4, bf1 and bfv just for lolz. They all have the same issue too. I dont think it will ever be fixed as long as they stay on frostbite and i believe this have been an issue ever since they started with frostbite 1 long time ago.
