My argument is simple: the developer never said the Beta aim assist was better or stronger.
That is something you keep repeating without a source.
Neither the patch notes nor the dev text say that. The full EA quote actually proves the opposite of what you are claiming.
Beta aim assist was weaker than what the game launched with. The devs explicitly say they increased slowdown at launch and now the update is reverting it back down to the weaker Beta values.
So no. They did not nerf aim assist at launch. It was buffed for launch.
You are also contradicting yourself. You keep switching between “stronger”, “better”, “worse” and “nerfed” as if they all mean the same thing. They do not and none of those claims match what EA wrote.
Now you are claiming something that simply never happened:
“The release patch notes said the Beta aim assist was too strong and they nerfed it.”
That line does not exist in any patch notes, EA blog posts, Steam notes or interviews.
You are basing your entire argument on a claim that is not written anywhere.
The actual EA text says the opposite:
“At launch, we increased slowdown at longer ranges.”
Increasing slowdown means buffing aim assist, not nerfing it.
Your entire timeline is backwards because you are quoting something that does not exist.
Across multiple posts you claimed:
“Beta aim assist was too strong.”
“They nerfed it at release.”
“Therefore, the Beta had stronger aim assist.”
“Controllers were too effective in the Beta.”
“It was better in the Beta.”
These are direct examples of you saying or implying that Beta AA was stronger.
Even worse, they contradict the EA quote, the patch notes and sometimes each other.
You keep repeating the same confused point and attributing it to me.
And you still have not produced this supposed “interview”. You built your entire argument on it yet you have shown no evidence it exists.
No dev interview says controllers were “too dominant or effective in Beta” or that aim assist was nerfed for launch.
Link the interview you keep mentioning or admit you are wrong and confused about the timeline of events.
Because the aim assist in the Beta was weaker than what the game launched with and that is exactly why so many PC players were mad about it cause they dont yet have a cross-play toggle to try avoid controllers.
