Gun randomly stops firing mid fight

I'm on Xbox series X. With any/every weapon I start shooting, it stops after a bullet or two and I have to start shooting again. It has caused me to lose many firefights :( It's not my controller, and it doesn't happen on any other game. I read some people have this issue as well and also had it on BF2042. I tried turning down deadzones and nothing is fixing it. Anyone else experiencing this? Is there hope that they'll fix it? Sucks to spend $70+ on an otherwise great game and lose so many fights due to something that shouldn't be happening. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten the drop on people but end up losing because my gun just completely stops firing. Please BF devs, fix this issue so I can continue loving this game!!

  • try with a new mouse man.  that can happen when a mouse goes bad and can be impossible to detect.  I learned this the hard way once and realized all 4 mice in my home had a bad left button lol.  and apparently its the first thing to go on a mouse which must be changed out every two years if you serious competitive gamer.

  • Happens to me all the time on pc, BF6 is 3 months after release unplayable, that must be some kind of record for BF series...

On pc, I experienced the same thing last night at least once when using the Scar AR against someone with a subgun.   It just stopped and all his rounds hit instantly.  I think it is a server glitch that can happen.  It shouldn't be every fight up close though.  I have a good connection, so I'll rule that out.  But, when using a device with a worse connection, it behaved this way every encounter (legion go).  The connection on the Legion was good, but the game is too heavy for it to process consistently resulting in errors like this.  I hope their is a fix because it shouldn't happen on a good PC with connection.  It has to be on their end or a slight blip in connection speed where it just picks the other guy to win that fight.  I play on wifi, unfortunately, so it could be that.  But it is always saying I have good ping about 28-34.

I'm having the same issue with PC, I'm always losing close range gun fights because the spray stops after anywhere between 1-5 bullets.
