I'm also a BF Veteran and I understand what you're saying, however I only agree with Hardcore if they are the same settings like Bad Company 2 Hardcore, BF3 and BF4. Now if they come with those 1000% settings and you can kill people across the map without bullet drops and with an SMG then forget it. Honestly, this doesn't make any sense. And I'm saying this very sincerely, I also played a lot of Hardcore in previous Battlefields, right now I prefer normal mode because of the exaggerations and settings Abusing many guys made in the last games of the franchise. After that I never played Hardcore again, Not to mention that this divides the community.
In short, if it's official BF4 style Hardcore, that's fine, anything more than that, forget it.
