I've seen a youtube video of that grandpa gamer guy showing this, and this is how he described it, but its not actually what happened on his screen. Alot of times people believe what they want to believe. and I've never experienced this myself. Usually if I notice I empty into a guy that takes massive dmg but doesn't die then turns around and insta kills me. I think cheater. I immediately look for him on the scoreboard and see his is dominating the map. I mean everyone in my server is under 10 ping including myself, its rare I see server lag but it does happen occasionally. dying behind covers etc, is normal for the engine going back to previous bf's, and its not the cause of you losing gunfights. the fact we can't have ranked matches in online gaming anymore cause of random anonymous users we are forced to play with, and cause today's generation just wants to play with their friends and they are not very competitive, is the only issue I have with the game, but that is an issue with the industry in general.

So, when a lobby full of bots behaves this way, I should blame the bots for cheating and have the government arrest EA's server?
That is a silly and hype take.

I'm not understanding your english. When a lobby full of bots acts what way? why would you ban a bot? Are you talking about actual game bots? Cheat engine bots? Or are we talking what the cheaters have programmed you to call noob players? to instill a taint on your soul and to distract and make it more acceptable to use cheat bots.... To change the term from being derogatory against them, to now in modern times a tool to demonize honest players with the term instead of themselves. Which one is it? I'm old school so to me the word bot means cheat. I shattered your world. i get it, you will cope eventually. its a take from someone who is obviously not new to bf. Because i've heard all this about bc2, bf3, bf1, bfv, and now bf6. Observed the behavior of players and servers throughout the years. I guess ever since frostbite engine was released people complain about the netcode, to players who take extra dmg and insta kill them. But the fact you are acting like this is some new phenomena to bf6, means you have no credibility with me. You are the silly and hype take in my eyes, and are simply projecting. Whats hilarious to me, is it not even a phenomena just to this franchise. smh.....
And if you are complaining about your hit reg against actual game bots...lmao, well to me that is what is really silly.... I would care less about that then I would care about people playing against bots for xp. who cares? EA always keeps their games play to win. not pay or grind to win. I just use the base guns. stop the nonsense. Let people who don't like getting pwned by unsportlike players on stacked teams play with bots. - Ty_Ger0725 days agoSeasoned Ace
AI. Bots. A lobby that only has bots in it. A lobby against no humans. You know that is an option in this game, right? Is it hard to understand the language of the game you play?
Bot lobbies do the same thing. You load up a bad lobby where 50% to 66% of your bullets vanish and do no damage. It's a thing. It's not cross-play's problem. It's not bots cheating. It's the game either on the client side or the server side. Something is wrong with the game. It's bad. It's worse than before.
You claimed the problem was caused by cheaters, but I provided an example where it is not possible for cheaters to be the cause.
Bots "doing it" (happening against bots):
It's lame to give EA/DICE the pass and scapegoat it. I'm sure some people are cheating, but that's not what we are all dealing with.
Going down the conspiracy rabbit hole, there is a belief that COD alters game balance to make someone with a better skin or more money invested play better. So, when the timing of an interraction was close, the win is given to that player who spent more money in order to psychologically trick them into thinking their purchase was worth it, or to make the losing player feel like something about that player's approach and purchase choices makes them a better player to strive for. It is a conspiracy and unproven, but is backed by patents and statements which could be construed to be confirmation.
Likewise, we could assume that BF6 is doing similar psychological tweaks to make one match feel unlosable and another match unwinnable, but again I don't know why it would also happen against bots.
I think the game is just messed up.

I'll have to take your word for it even though I find it hard to believe. I think they should let people run and manage their own servers, imho, and then we just need the gov't to help with the ddos attacks. its that simple really. I still go back to the same thing brother in the end. It sounds like you just rolling the "dice" at if you get a good server or a pwned one at this point. I don't notice anything, but a little lag doesn't bother me I come from quake. I told you my opinion on guys who take dmg and insta kill. Their score also tells the tale.
At the end of BF3 for example, the only servers that were left being hosted, were full of cheats and would lag out. I mean like I would hitch in certain servers I knew to avoid, because they were clan names and servers I would just get destroyed in, while my game would be stuttering on their servers on top of it. While the matches would be completely stacked out lmao. I kid you not. And eventually those were the only servers left. So I understand EA's unwillingness to let people host their own servers again. Because its literally just rewarding hackers. I mean we keep ignoring the elephant in the room brother, but its always going to be there. These types of people pwn players by cheating in the game, with either bot engines or stacking teams, the pwn EA and the servers by literally taking control of them and who knows what they do to them, and they will even pwn people outside of ea's servers. And they face no repercussions, these are the times we are living in and i'm not sure when society is going to wake up because it literally has been going on for over 20 years lol.
And these same people, have you blaming EA for it. - CoolitRich25 days agoRising Traveler
btw, the guy in that video was hitting an invisible object. Now you can blame EA for putting out unclean maps. But that has nothing to do with hit reg. That happened to me once laying on the ground, I assumed it thought I was hitting the rock in front of me, even though it was nowhewre in view. You can see in that vid, the hit spashing right at the window even though nothing is there. And no that has nothing to do with the opponent. you are correct. but it also has nothing to do with hitreg. That is a completely separate issues brother. That should be reported so they can fix the map imho or w/e is causing that. but its hitting an invisible wall.
The Hit reg issue brother, Is when you see the hit marker literally hit the guy, you hear the sound of it hitting the guy, but you don't get the dmg for hitting the guy. You call it a hit reg issue, I call it cheating. health modifiers and dmg modifiers been a thing in gaming in every fps since quake. so is purposely lagging to avoid dmg.
Also brother, the devs, 3rd party hackers, have all sorts of hacks to mess with people man. For example in quake years ago I once had my game's cfg hacked so that as soon as I spawned I was always drowning. Had my quake live game hacked so that every other game I would crash, and I need this amazing Russian hacking legend to make a javascript command to use when I opened the game in my browser to stop it from happening. And after I posteds the fix in case others needed it on the games forums. I got banned. This is the world we live in, did I blame id, even though they were completely corrupt? No, I still blamed the 3rd party hacker who exploited them for whatever reasons they had to let it happen. Now sure games have bugs, and every hack is a bug, but that makes EA the victim, even if they have moles in their own organization.
BTW I've had detectives come to my house during the time I had to get the russian kid who happened to be a quake fan who felt sorry for me, fix my issue. id software told me to kick rocks. They were trying to swat me, send drugs to my house, claim i was a terrorist. The NYC detectives, who were out of JFK airport, just gave me their card and to call them if I have any problems. true story. This was years ago.I know one kid during bf3, who was one of the biggest anti cheat voices in the community. They fried his bios, and usually its gigabyte boards I notice that happens to. I tried to tell him this and he flipped out in denial. its a crazy world brother, and people just don't want to admit the truth, because its so scary. I've known kids in shadow crew years ago, who I had to disown, they fried my pc once on christmas morning. After one of them went to jail, and the kid who got bagged, his friend, started talking to me to keep me informed or I guess find out what I knew. Woke up christmas morning turned on the pc, and hdd, mobo fried. After the kid got of jail he swore he had nothing to do with it. I think what happened was the Russian kids they were buying the numbers off of were hacking us all and I guess to cover their tracks. I have friends in the video game industry, that bf6 devs prolly know. I seen it all. I make my mother use qubes-os at home lol.

The guy in the video is me. Playing in the experience I made. Playing the same thing that a month ago didn't behave that way. Are you saying that they have added invisible objects to hit by accident within the last month? Or those bots are cheating? Or what other excuse besides the game is messed up now in a way that it didn't use to be? When they tried to fix whatever, they messed it up. Now the gun stops shooting for no reason in the middle of shooting. Or the gun stops being able to move its aim randomly until you stop shooting. Or you can't revive people if they are laying on a rock or a piece of grass. Or almost all shots don't count some rounds or period of time for no apparent reason.
It's messed up. It's not crossplay. It's not cheaters. It's messed up by people updating something they obviously didn't originally create. I think the people who knew the code and knew what they were doing already were let go due to their high salary or were pushed on to another project.

I'm saying that happens in video games brother. Its like a spot on the map they missed or something that should of been caught in beta. Maybe i'm wrong. or there is something else causing it. or its a hack on your account, your computer. I'm saying what I saw doesn't look like it has anything to do with the hitreg. it looks like you are hitting an invisible wall so the bullets are not even getting to the guy. that is a totally different issue, and is probably specific to that map or your account. Thats what I'm saying lol. I'm saying it happened to me once cause the game was acting as if I was hitting a rock that was not there. It looks like you are hitting the side of the wall that is not there brother.
If it happened to you after an update ok fine, if it happened to you because of a problem with the map, ok fine. Both those things is ea's fault. But players taking massive amounts of dmg and turning around and insta killing you, is cheating 9 times out of 10, when 9 times out of 10, people blame it on netcode and I'm getting tired of it. I don't think your vide shows any netcode issue. If it was server lag it wouldn't be the reason you lost the gunfight, but it could be the server getting pwned. If its the player lagging, he could be lagging on purpose. a guy with 150 stable ping is not gonna be skipping on your screen when you shoot at him and he won't be lagging the server. That was a myth spread around the bf communities for like 10 years. He will literally be disadvantaged cause of his lag regardless of any assistance the game engine gives him. And if its you lagging well that again can be malicious. Because its a dead industry being brainwashed by these same bad actors into killing itself more. I'm in total shock 20 year later, we still act like we don't know whats going on. - Blinded_by_RGB25 days agoNew Rookie
Yes, I also noticed that some people will die near instantly when shooting them, while other just soak up the damage I hit them with. I tend to die instantly to everyone tho.
- CoolitRich25 days agoRising Traveler
You will probably also notice the difference in their scores on the scoreboard too. lmao.... and its not a coincidence because its obviously not a fluke. And do we call it skill? Are they just good at dodging bullets? Because whats hilarious to me is most of the community is in denial and blame it on the netcode, cause they know it has nothing to do with skill. So if its the fault of the netcode, how does it consistently favor only certain players? lmao... I tell you man for the past two years I feel like I've been living in the twlight zone. I can't believe this is real life. We are living in times, maybe more so than any time in history, when the majority of populations are desperately lying to themselves to hide the truth. entertaining but also scary. Because if the majority of society can't handle the truth, I don't know how we continue to evolve and survive.
