with Battlefield. I’ve been playing BF for 22+ years and have every game in the franchise. At least the ones they let me keep on CD and didn’t too-bad-so-sad kill the servers for. Why? Aim assist....

Considering the work EA/DICE has put into patching this title for so long, it's clear that the developers have abandoned its further development – currently focusing only on unimportant things like character skins and the development of their Battle Royale (which practically no one plays), completely ignoring player requests for help getting this title back on track.
But they don't care, continuing down the path of a blind man who will fail sooner or later.
The people managing this project have absolutely no idea what Battlefield was or is, turning our favorite series into a mindless Call of Duty – aimed at teenagers.
Showing the middle finger to all the veterans of the series who supported them from the very beginning.
