I'm Done...

This is just a message to EA that I'm officially done with BF6. I left COD back in 2016 for a reason and unfortunately, BF is no longer any better. I gave season 2 a shot with hope and it just doesn't feel like battlefield anymore and hasn't since release. It feels more like a sweaty COD game with vehicles. I really like the new map, but there is just so much more that's wrong with the game that makes it an experience that's more frustrating than fun. Not to mention, I still can't hear footsteps and when I do, I can't tell where they are coming from. I also still die when I've already clearly made it to cover. And the weapons just feel "off".

Plus side is I've saved a lot of space!

Back to older BF titles.. Bye!

i tried season 2 also. The game doesnt give me a positive feeling when playing. It irritates me.

The first time I launched s2, I was getting blazed as well. I learnt one thing... not to rush like crazy in the open. TTK/TTD is slightly too fast now...

I guess glitched recoil was not as bad after all. Players require only some unlocks on the guns, but the unlock system is at least 2x too slow. I consider a recoil glitch as a balancing thing... just spraying someone with 100% accuracy after a sprinting stance is NOT entirely fine, especially at distance.

I just don't understand it. It feels wrong.

Most of the complaints come from players who did not manage to get at least one gun on lvl 30. Barebone weapon on lvl 15 or lower sucks. Weapon progression ruins the experience most of the time.

I feel like we went through two cycles of the same builds. Sorry, the game wasn`t ready for launch at this stage.

  • This isn't about difficulty. It's about the game changing its foundation.

When you flatten recoil, increase ranged consistency on automatic weapons, and tone down movement at the same time, you're not just adjusting balance. You're removing systems that used to counter each other.

Movement helped offset strong aim. Recoil control mattered at range. Pushing carried real risk and real reward.

If guns become laser stable at distance and movement gets more predictable, the whole dynamic shifts. Players hold angles. Corners become safer. Snipers multiply. Fewer people push objectives.

That doesn't just affect higher skill players. It affects everyone. Even if they dont put it into words, they feel it. The pace changes. Aggression feels punished. The sandbox feels smaller.

Shorter TTK and more consistent weapons also shift what the game rewards. Success becomes about quick contact and immediate payoff rather than sustained control. That may improve accessibility, but it changes the core experience.

Battlefield worked because it's systems balanced each other through tension. Since 2042, it hasn't felt like building on that. It feels more like reshaping the game to follow trends instead of reinforcing its own identity.

When the core systems stop balancing each other, the game loses what made it distinct.

  • I don’t know I keep trying and then I gave up and uninstalled. I’m with the majority of the group here, but it’s gonna fall on deaf ears. They have a class of the gadgets is a ladder which is now unusable and yes, I know people are alike. Yay. Roof rats are gone. That’s part of the game to try to figure out how to get there and kill them. It’s very annoying the fact that you can’t lay mines down you’ve gotta wait for the counter the countdown because it’s not fair and doesn’t give the enemy team a chance the other thing that I’m disappointed in is yeah they made the Guns into freaking lasers again. Do you guys remember a Battlefield five if you bunny hopped more than two times it slows you down and you can’t hop why can’t they implement that? No they want to be able to slide bunny hot bunny hop 360 and gun someone down that’s cool. That’s what all the 67 kids like. I’m really getting sick of them retooling this game just to suck people in and then let it die. I have been having fun in Arma, but I miss my battlefield friends stick in C4 on jeeps and blowing them across the map trying to figure out how to get up to rooftops but once again typical battlefield let’s purposely break one gun that’s a laser that can kill everybody and then will let it go until the next update. The new map sucks. Battle Royale map sucks when I dropped into that thing I was like am I playing cod and that’s what battle Royale is starting to come into. I don’t understand and of course, when you post these everyone call us whining unexperienced get better aim but those are the people that they’re catering to. I did notice that the settings that they have implemented into the new update is perfect for the ZEN and Titan controller go figure on that one and the reason why I know that was I was looking through some YouTube videos and they were showing all the new things that you can do with these controllers. The console cheating has gotten out of hand. It’s bad when you have to switch cross play on to get away from that EA and dice does not care. They are money hookers that’s all they care about. I miss the 1942 days and Bad company was my favorite.

I could not put it better myself. I cannot play on the new map without DMR... every time I expose myself... I get laser-gunned 90% of the time with MP5... I do not understand players complaining about recoil. Do you really think your skill will increase with a zero-kick weapon?!

The only thing that has to be worked on is netcode... allow players to progress faster so they may eventually unlock attachments for their barren weapons.

I really lost any incentive to play this game except for doing some unlocks. I cannot even play with most of my mates in a narrowly gated 4-player lobby.

Compared to last 4 maps, the map is actually decent. Still not the best compared to BF3 or 2 maps.
