Is there a way to change the region?

Hi guys.

I was wondering if there is a way to change the region of the game? I own it on Steam

In the previous games we'd just pick the server with the most players and good ping.

In Battlefield 6 the game automatically chooses the server based on your region , the reason I'd like to change it is because I am based in North Africa , Which seems like not so many people are playing it compared to EU or US servers , and some times I wait in the queue while logging in because the servers are "full" , and steam showing more than 300k active players.
I'd get in games full of bots , not all of them but some of them , and It kind of worries me for a game with such popularity but at same time some games has at least 7 to 10 bots for each game.

I like the idea of portal , but I want to have the vanilla experience.

I tried to change the region of the account on EA since it's linked with Steam (saw a video about it) but nothing happened.
