Issues with the game

Firstly, Id like to start off with that the game is great where its at.

My issue starts even before I get to play.

The menu UI is horrible. Unintuitive. As a PC user, its extremely messy scrolling left and right with hidden bricks here and there. As far as I have been told/know, the menu was going to be straight forward but this is really messy. It feels like the whole UI was catered to console users. Will we ever get a UI that is less complicated? The whole grid style navigation just takes up way too much time just to find what you want and sometimes I cant even find what I'm after. 

Then we have the server browser custom search. Not everyone wants to play the featured stuff.  Id dare say more veteran players would have certain tastes as per to what game mode and maps they're after. The custom search does not even work half the time mainly on map selection. I have specific maps I have blacklisted from the list and I still get put into those maps. Will there be a fix? I understand the game has been out for close to a week but it would be nice to get some insight if this issue is currently being reviewed. 

Similarly the experience search server function seems to have a whole lot of problems itself where servers aren't updated. Many are empty which are taking up EA server resources disallowing other people to create their own server to play. And when you do find an experience or game mode you're after, you have an error that you cant even join them as the error states game servers are full quota thing. When you're tired of trying to join one, and want to host one, you cant do that as well. Same issue. 

So now I find myself stuck and being forced to play games that I pretty much do not enjoy as much as I would with my preferred modes. I feel like I'm being herded like sheep to play what is featured. 

There's other bugs here and there but my main issue is as said. I'm hoping for a fix as I am sure there's others who will likely share the same issues I'm facing.

However, the game has been great. Has solid gameplay for release as we have not seen a good title like such in a very long time. I have high hopes the game will get better as the studio has listened to us consumers and long time vets in this series. But please. Give us a working user interface. Sometimes old is gold, and the older menus back in the day were so much more reliable and intuitive. Especially when the functions and filters work.
