When? I thought they would be in the official server menu as an option.
Going through the HUD menu to find the server browser and filter by hardcore each time is needless, annoying.
It also decreases the amount of players that might be interested in hardcore but can't/won't bother playing it because it is out of reach.
Please add Official hardcore servers to the main menu options. Not all of us want to play COD/bullet sponge simulator! Thank you.
I second that but until they do, please allow hardcore mode in portal to allow turning off health regen (infantry and vehicles), auto spotting (allow pinging only), would like the option to add mini map to the hud but keep the hud hidden unless you bring it out manually, separate cross hair from infantry and vehicles. Better description on how each setting directly affects the game. Also when you browse servers please allow for a better view of the settings as it would make it easier to tell what to expect
Something i would love to be added: I would like to swap around some of the gadgets and signature gadgets between classes, allowing to swap skill between classes would also be helpful, would like to use portal to experiment with the class formula
I've been a dedicated battlefield fan since I picked up my first copy around 15 years old. While 2042 was a miss, battlefield 3 & battlefield 4 really laid your all's title out. it separated you from call of duty by such a big standpoint, it wasn't even fair. It guaranteed that you are the better game choice, hands down. Now, I was not a core monkey like every other player. I saw the real immersive grit of the fight and that can only be found in hardcore. Us "battlefield dads" feel like you all have neglected one of the Mainstays of the battlefield series; and that is hardcore mode. Yes, there may be some bugs that need to still be fixed in the game overall. because I know I've been shot by a dude with a handgun while prone and I clearly watched the bullets go up and over my shoulder. I could follow their path of travel and it counted as a headshot, but I digress. that's not what this is about. For you all to have lacked a hardcore selection from initial launch, makes us feel like you forgotten about the oldest fans that you could possibly have for your title. Us dedicated daily warriors deserve the option to take the training wheels off this game and play it like it was meant to be played. Also, the complete environmental destruction is great but levolutions was where it was at.
