It's Hard to kill soilder

Hi. I AM VETERAN BATTLEFIELD PLAYER. I don't know , I can't understand why official TTK is similar to warzone. It's really hard to kill enemy. In previous battlefield TTK was good - realistic. But current TTK is so bad. I Feel like I was playing COD/Warzone. Please @EA @DICE do something. Bring back BF3/4's TTK&TTD back. Or put Hardcore mode in Main menu for fast acces.

No worries, not trying to start an argument either. I am just genuinely curious why some people feel that the TTK is slow.

The M4A1 deals 25 damage per hit close range. Which means 4 bullets to kill a target (100 health).. so with a fire rate of 900 rpm this is 268 ms TTK. If you feel that it takes a lot of bullets to kill, then this sounds like an issue with desync and hit reg? Or you are simply missing your bullets.

I personally think that the gun play, TTK and the feeling of getting kills in BF6 might be the best I have ever experienced in any fps ever.

In the Beta the TTK was insanely fast, with many weapons that were well below ~300 milliseconds. The previous Battlefield games, generally have slower TTK. What you're probably noticing is the reduced headshot multiplier, which is significantly lower.

Achillez1990 I don't even want to start an argument about this, but I will say that the killing system is very difficult in Battlefield 6 compared to previous Battlefields. Let's say the M4, the weapon shoots very fast but kills slowly, meaning it takes a lot of bullets for a soldier, and if a soldier is at a long distance, then killing him is very difficult and sometimes impossible. I have played so many Battlefields and I have never seen such a strange shooting system in any of them. It is clearly similar to TTK Call of Duty Warzone, meaning it is unrealistic.

It has everything to do with the lag or missing the shots, because it's just a simple math. The default AR in the beta had ~220ms TTK close range, body shots (and of course a bit slower at a range), which was one of the fastest TTK any Battlefield ever had. If you don't believe it, you can calculate it by yourself by taking the weapon's damage per bullet and RPM. If your perceived TTK was much slower, then it wasn't because the bullets are doing low damage or guns shooting too slow or enemies are a bulletsponge, but other factors.

I must agree with Achillez there, because my perception of TTK in the beta was on par with the previous Battlefield titles.

I have not played every BF title, but I have played BF3, BF4 and recently BF2042. I played BF3 the most. The TTK in BF6 is pretty close.

In BF6, however, engagements drag out unnecessarily. It takes so many rounds to drop a single target that you’re forced to reload after every kill, which is not only unrealistic but kills the pacing of fights. That’s not a matter of aiming better, that’s poor tuning of weapon damage and health values.

Sounds to me like we played completely different betas then. Because this is not how I experienced the game. I believe most AR or Carbines needed 4-5 bullets to kill (not counting headshots). The damage fall off over longer ranges might have been a bit drastic, as it affect the TTK a lot if your target is further away, but that is to be expected. They said they already tuned / balanced that after the beta though.

I believe the developers said they have a lot of data on this and they are happy with the current TTK in the game.

You’re missing the entire point. TTK in Battlefield 6 feels artificially inflated compared to previous Battlefield titles, and no this has nothing to do with lag or missing shots. Don’t try to dismiss a design flaw as a “skill issue.” I’ve played every Battlefield since BF3, and the difference is very clear. In BF3, BF4, and even 2042, the TTK was tight, responsive, and most importantly  believable. Enemies went down in a reasonable number of bullets, which kept the gunplay fast, lethal, and rewarding.

In BF6, however, engagements drag out unnecessarily. This is Battlefield, not an arcade BR game. The series has always been about a balance of realism and fun. Right now, BF6 leans way too far into a bullet sponge system that does not fit Battlefield’s DNA.

So no, the TTK isn’t too fast. If you genuinely believe it is, then either you didn’t play past Battlefield titles enough to understand the standard they set, or you’re conflating BR leaks with core multiplayer. For veterans of the series, BF6’s TTK feels off, and pretending otherwise just ignores the franchise’s history.

  • Why do you feel the TTK is slow? No flame, but If you feel it's hard to kill an enemy it has to be related to lag / desync? or you are not hitting your shots.

I felt players died instantly if I hit my shots close to mid range. I also died instantly if I get shot at. The TTK felt really good to me, but If anything I feel like the TTK is too fast. I am not saying it should be like Warzone, but the TTK is noticeably faster in BF6 than in Warzone.

Side note: I think the TTK definitely looks too fast for the BR based on leaked gameplay. Armor should matter more in that mode.
