It's Launch Day
Here we are. It's Launch Day.
For the first time since the masterpiece that was Battlefield 1, I am anxiously awaiting jumping into a new Battlefield title. I am actually a very poor player - I usually go negative every single match and I'm not very dependable. I have enjoyed playing medic in the past - I'm hoping that I can find a place as a medic in BF6. I have never joined a clan, but it is refreshing to see people advertising clans again. I haven't seen that in what feels like forever.
I'm looking for to trying Portal mode to see how things actually come together. I wouldn't be surprised if I end up spending the bulk of my time experimenting within this specific mode. I will probably never play the battle royale or campaign modes - those have never interested me.
EA/DICE deserve a word of congratulations as this year will undoubtedly be the year they eclipse Call of Duty in sales! Where they go from here is anyone's guess, but I personally never thought this feat would be attainable.
I plan on watching endless hours of content this weekend in addition to playing. The FPS community has been literally starving for a decent game to become invested in. Hopefully, everyone can find something that they enjoy within this game this weekend. I'll be back on Sunday evening to participate in whatever toxicity ensues.
Until then...happy gaming!!
