kamikaze fighter jets

I've run into a little problem a few times now while playing Battlefield 6. It's this thing where, when I'm flying a helicopter and a fighter jet flies into me full of kamikaze, I don't find that the problem, but what I do find incredibly annoying is that the helicopter explodes, killing me while the fighter jet and its pilot happily keep flying. That really irritates me, and in my opinion, it's pretty fake. If that happened in real life, the fighter jet would die too. I think this needs to be fixed! Am I the only one, or are others bothered by this?
