LAW92G I completely agree with you.
In my opinion, legacy content is one of the biggest keys to bringing Battlefield 6 back to its golden era and attracting a lot of veterans who are currently on the fence.
The current engine is incredibly powerful, especially with destruction, but it feels underutilized without those iconic large-scale maps that defined Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4.
I also think Battlefield Studios is not leveraging this enough. There is huge untapped potential in legacy content—not just maps.
It shouldn’t stop at remastered maps. We could also have:
Legacy soldier skins (BF3 / BF4 classes)
Classic weapons brought back with modern customization
Themed squads/factions inspired by older titles
Even legacy-style sound design and atmosphere
A full “Legacy” approach would not only bring nostalgia, but also restore the identity and immersion that made Battlefield unique.
If done properly, this could honestly be one of the best moves for the long-term health of BF6.
I’d definitely buy it day one.
