Please, speak for yourself. You paying more than the base price is your own doing and not a bright one. Paying for skins, camos, or any of that other garbage is just a waste. You're the only one who sees what you bought, besides the first seconds before the match starts, when 3 other people see it. And let me tell you, it's forgotten about seconds later. Yes, we want real BF maps. But paying another 50 to 60 dollars, like you say, nahhh. The old 35 dollar expansion pack price is fine.

numone17 I get your point, and honestly I agree on some parts.
For maps, I really think they should be free and integrated into seasonal updates. That’s core Battlefield content — locking maps behind a paywall has always split the player base, and we’ve seen in the past that it hurts matchmaking and the overall experience.
When it comes to skins and cosmetics, I see it differently. I understand why some of them are paid — it’s optional content and a way for the game to generate revenue after launch. That said, I do agree it would be nice to have more free customization options available, so everyone can enjoy some level of personalization without paying.
At the end of the day, paid cosmetics are a choice. No one is forced to buy them, and some players enjoy that aspect of customization — even if others don’t see the value in it.
But yeah, for maps specifically, I’m 100% with you — they should be part of the base experience, not extra paid content.
