Little Bird concerns

The biggest menace to sheer pure fun in gaming has been the rise of the YouTuber "content creator" class. Like a plague of grasshoppers alighting on a field: they decimate anything they touch.

Let's be honest. Most of the player base in every game is composed of infantry players. Only Naval maps with little birds make perfect sense to fast travel between island-like objectives. A little bird alongside the attack chopper in any normal map is the worst. Little Bird is a fun favourite for 10k/d+ YouTubers tbh.

Soflam's don't even work they way they should. A stinger with a soflam laser locked shouldn't be broken by flares. It should require the aircraft to flare the soflam lock before anyone shoots at them with a stinger.

On the positive note, the new map has lots of cover, so choppers do not make me rage-quit with Alt+F4. AA probably needs a slight buff. 

I think automatic weapons need 1 more additional bullet to kill a target at short and medium range, and spammy DMRs could get a slight increase in recoil. TTK/TTD is way too fast now.

Because the Little Bird has been so deadly on this map I've been forced to find good good cover and not move too often. Best I've learned to do to get a lot of kills on this map is to find a dark corner underground, or prone under a tank/staircase or box to hide under camping until someone walks by then I strike like a hungry spider. YES, yes I know thats the worst kind of CoD type of player but this map with the flying helicopters Ive been pushed there. Turns out a lot of people want to get away from the heli's too so camping in a spot first is a good way to rack up more kills then the pilot. Haha

Pt.2: Some people still like to slide and gun into to a spot for revenge after getting killed by a camper, so you kill one or two people and move to another side of the space or at minimum move 6-8ft and kill them again when they come back for a revenge kill. It really pisses people off, a many people have rage quit.

Yeah? Based on your story you had lucky lobby. Camping armored tows and rpgs are ur biggest enemies. You can get easy kills with anything if no1 is shooting at you... I am from 2042 with 2k bird hours. This here is absolute joke and made of paper (more close to milsim) than ground troops running like usain bolts with clunky slidings.

EDIT: It is deadly yes, but very killable. Being OP is not excuse in this serie.

Lucky lobby? Did you even watch the video from JackFrags I provided in this thread? That footage was recorded by him in a pre season 2 launch capture event, which is invite only, so typically there will be people who know how to play BF and with that how to counter a helicopter.  

And I too have played 2042, and although I might not have spend countless hours in the Night Bird, I think with an overall playtime of 1506 hours, and 34 hours spent in the various helicopters, I immediately spotted and felt the difference between the BF2042 Night Bird and the BF6 Little Bird both from a pilot as an infantry perspective. Where I struggled to position the NB in order to get kills, this was not the case with the Little Bird. The latter is noob friendly in terms of handling and also in the way the weapons damage infantry. And yes it might be more vulnerable than it's predecessor but only to direct hits with RPG's and Tows, for which it compensates in maneuverability. You can get killed easily by those but only if you hover in place or fly in repetitive patterns, but any decent pilot who knows how to use the terrain and maneuverability to his/her advantage will have 0 issues in farming infantry.

Those little helicopters are not even remotely healthy for the overall sandbox of Battlefield. It's a vehicle that can be manned by one person and it's main goal is to simply hunt down and harass infantry. It's effectively one of these things that's fun for one person and unfun for everyone else, meanwhile not even really being something that can be that much of a match decider unless you're really good with it. And if you are you probably could have used a different vehicle that could have actually been helpful in terms of destroying enemy armor or destroying enemy air assets. The thing is basically a single player adventure, and it has been in every game that it's been part of. And that's exactly why I don't like it and why I don't use the little helicopters that often.

Well see, this here already proves my point that you didn't spend enough with it. Yes it is very deadly, yes it has low learning curve in order to get an infantry kill. But you excluded out that, you get shot out way easier from this thing, mg make good amount of damage and in order to use terrain, you fly low, which is absolute food for rpgs and vehicle disability totall kills controls. Spend more time in more advanced lobby and you will see, you get wopped by something even before you get out of the base. But in 2042 it required more skill to fight against other choppers, here is too fast ttk imo, which kind of kills that curve. In short, very powerful yet very killable and when enemy has good AA overall, unflyable. (Also it moves different than in 2042, way slower movement on the sides, not gonna complain about that tho, ill adapt.)

Not sure what you mean by different vehicle of being useful in terms of destroying enemy armor. Well, in 2042 i soloed many times enemy armor... Even without **bleep** agms.

Yeah,  game I was just in the Little Bird pilot had 83 kills and 3 deaths. Was almost impossible to shoot down, as he just flew between buildings on the Manhatton Bridge map. Not much point playing if one vehicle can dominate like that. Lots of people jumped out of the game.
