Matchmaking and overly restrictive SBMM: Conquest │ EU server
Hello everyone,
I would like to start a discussion regarding the current state of matchmaking on Battlefield 6. As many have been feeling lately, it has become very difficult to find matches during the day; you join a lobby and there are only about 5 or 10 players waiting indefinitely for others without the match ever starting, and servers only truly come alive in the evening.
I feel like the SBMM (Skill-Based Matchmaking) is way too restrictive. With the current natural decline in player count, the system completely struggles to form lobbies. For players with standard stats, it still seems manageable, but with my profile (around a 5 K/D, you can check my detailed stats here:

it is simply complicated. By trying to regulate everything, the system completely distorts the experience and penalizes profiles that stand out a bit from the average by failing to find them matches during the day.
Do other players in the same stat bracket encounter this blockage when trying to start matches outside of peak hours? Do you think an easing of SBMM is necessary to adapt to the reality of the community?
Thanks for reading, and have a good game everyone!
