More cheaters

I've been playing against SO many cheaters, practically every match there's 2 or 3 sometimes even 6 cheaters with a 4:1 kd or higher.  No vehicles heck most of the time not even sniping.  Is it that hard for ea to ban people with inhuman stats?

I can't say there are a lot of cheaters; EA actually made a good AC (Anti-Cheat). In 600 hours, I've only seen five blatant cheaters. As the player base gets smaller, you play against better players. I have a 1.6 KD, but 90% of the time I’m at the top of the scoreboard with ~50 kills per game. My squad mates and Discord members have the same experience.

A lot of complaining players are running idiotic YouTuber builds, using compensators and brakes as muzzle attachments, and then complaining that someone is using wallhacks. Every bullet you shoot with a brake or compensator blips you in the world and on the mini-map (dumb game design; I don’t know who came up with that).

The sound is bad, but it still gives a general direction of where enemies are. The minimap provides a lot of information, especially with a good Recon on the team.

Gun and vehicle balance is poor; a lot of players use meta guns, and if you use anything else, you’re at a disadvantage. It sounds harsh, but gun balance was bad at launch, and their attempts to fix it were idiotic. At a high level, guns like the KTS are broken—no nerfs, even though it’s basically a full-auto DMR with super-fast bullets and no recoil. I really hope the person responsible for gun balance was caught in the layoffs.

Also, the bad netcode doesn’t help, especially with the poor lag compensation (it predicts too far and incorrectly). The algorithm predicts your movements server-side; if you or an opponent has high ping, it might predict you’re peeking a corner when you're actually hugging it. Your model just stands out in the open on the server’s end.

Then there are 'no-regs,' where shots do no damage. This might be connected to lag compensation—the actual player model is in a different place than the hitbox. You hit what the server sees, not what you see, which explains dying behind cover.

Then there is the bad TTD (Time To Die). Sometimes all damage packets hit you in one tick; on your screen, you die from one bullet even with full health.

Overturned Aim assists on Controller, less recoil less bloom(spread, randomness of bullets) pretty sticky aim assist so you can jump and shoot slide and shoot. Allot of players on PC use it you can see how they move if they are on roller or not. And i don't blame them because its just to good.

And yes, there are people who know how to play FPS games. Lately, I’ve seen such 'special' teammates and enemies that they should reconsider playing FPS games altogether.

That would explain why it feels like someone cheats.

  • I hear you dude, experiencing the same thing. I'm pretty much done with EA and battlefield, the anti cheat really does nothing. People get ban'd, but they have already spoofed the Hardware ID. Once ban'd they just re spoof the ID, reinstall and they are cheating again. Frozen has a similar ban system but it ban's all hardware inside your pc. I played Overwatch for a few years and experience a cheater here and there but nothing like the battlefield series. Xbox users are also cheating but I'm not sure how that works. I do know they enhance aim assist and rapid fire. I feel like there are more Xbox cheaters than PC. Hopefully they come of with some kind of AI anti cheat system or maybe just use a different engine other than DICE.
