A little about my position on the Sprint To Fire in the game.
P.S. I know there are attachments in the game that reduce Sprint To Fire, but they're not available for all guns in the game. The incorrect cost of some attachments prevents others from being installed.
Perhaps the problem is that shooting is from the barrel and not from the center of the screen as in previous games.
The current situation encourages camping rather than active, aggressive play.
So it encourages tactical play over running around like a lemming?
Tactical playstyle in an arcade shooter where you can be killed in 0.2 seconds?
My take is that the long sprint to fire, aim inertia while moving, aim punch, and low mobility of heavy weapons make gunfights a piece of cake. First to shoot wins. This literally makes active play with machine guns, DMRs, etc. unplayable.
(I mean, sprint to fire should be cut from the overall TTK.) This will make the game more skill-based. I pressed the left mouse button and the weapon started shooting immediately, making it easier to break into rooms and clear out campers.
So you do want to just run around like a lemming?
Simple answer: don't sprint so much.
It's obviously not a full arcade shooter but it sounds like that is what you want.
If you run around like a lemming and get killed fast it's because you are running around like a lemming.
