Neither BF or COD; EA why not make a separate COD?

This hybrid approach of combining BF with elements of COD has resulted in the game being neither BF or COD and is unfamiliar to me after all these decades of playing BF.

The approach doesn't satisfy BF players nor COD players, so why do it?  Just because BF and COD are FPS games doesn't mean the players want a little of both.  Just the opposite, players want the full experience or either BF or COD, not a watered down version combining the two.

Why not make a COD game to compete with Activision?  You can then put your efforts into go creating the quisensential BF and COD experience separately, and without compromise.

You'll gain more customers, you won't lose them.
