New weapons should not be paywalled at all.
New weapons are in the battle pass which is free reward but they are intentionally spread across the tiers anywhere from 20+ tiers each section which will take months to grind. I know you want people...

You can select the tree which has the weapon in the battlepass to be completed first. That way you dont have to complete the other ones first.
This is not the point. The point is that one section the AR is at the end (22 tier) which puts it to 27 tier if you start with that. tHen the DMR is in another section around 14 tier so 27+14 tier so 41 tier. Then a LMG is in another section tier 17 so 27+14+17 tiers you have to grind.
