(Portal changes regarding bots)
To the people in charge, I have filed a complaint with the ACCC, after which Steam refunded me in full ($149.95AUD) for your game. I was surprised to have received a refund as I had played over 30 hours, and they're often very strict with the "2 hour" rule. Although, the fact that you've broken consumer law may have had some sway with Steam making such an exception. I wouldn't have done this if you had kept PvE portal progression as an option, which you'd advertised. I have observed that after your broken promise, the rating for Battlefield 6 on steam has dived from very positive to... well, I can't say, because I think you're just going to nose dive even lower from here (following the trends). Not only that, but I would have been happy to pay for upcoming seasons/additional content because I loved your game and thought of it as well-made. However, sadly the changes to Portal have taken away my enjoyment of the game, as I cannot progress on maps with bots in-game overtime because of the changes to portal. I was waiting many days before lodging my complaint with the ACCC, however since I was left with no alternative, I felt that $149.95 for a game which would now be unplayed was just unacceptable.
I understand if you don't agree with my point of view and for those of you who play purely for PvP, I hope this game is all you wished for. Likewise, I hope that you start treating your customers as you would like to be treated, and regain some of the trust you've lost over the years.
(Also, I understand that you can sometimes get the BF-official sever maps to spawn bots if no one joins, but I simply want portal maps that I can host and play alone with bots. I don't even want custom rules so I can use them to farm experience, as I prefer something to progress towards.)
Thank you for reading.
