Proposed Debuff System for Players with High Ping

I’ve seen many posts on social media and elsewhere pointing out the issue where players with high ping currently have an unfair advantage in the game, so I’ve come up with a solution and decided to share it here.
The solution involves increasing the hitbox size of players with high ping (both infantry and vehicles) in proportion to their ping value.
Up to a ping of 30, the hitbox size remains normal; from ping 30 to 60, the hitbox increases by 5% for every 1-point increase in ping; and from ping 60 onward, the headshot detection area increases by 10% for every 1-point increase in ping. By doing this, players with high ping would once again be at a disadvantage, as they were before, effectively restoring balance, don’t you think?

Yeah. Or maybe instead: 1/ have enough servers people are not forced to play out of their region, 2/ go after VPN users, and 3/ actually implement proper lag compensation and interpolation. Maybe in reverse order.

I understand there's a lot more to track in a game like BF compared to, say, CS, but the netcode is still way subpar compared to what the top titles can achieve these days.

I definitely think your suggestion is a pretty good one.
Whatever regulations or measures EA ends up implementing, I hope it leads to a better game.
