They should add it.
But
All weapons, gadgets and attachments should be unlocked for this mode and zero progression apart from battlepass progress and some skin challenges.
They could add solo stats to track your stats in this mode.
Just my opinion.
I'd like attachment unlocks to be possible, even with the limited XP gain it would still be helpful.
I miss having the solo/co-op for learning how to use vehicles that still provided some unlocks, as basically nobody wanted to start in a jet in a real multiplayer match without unlocking the basic gadgets for it in 2042. I miss being able to practice taking down various bot groups with choppers/jets/etc to learn them better. I realize there are some portal experiences, but they tend to not have the AI needed to do more than maneuvering practice.
