Hi there. I don't think your actually questioning how a player at level 1 can beat you in redsec. Based on your statement, you already know and are implying its due to cheating. I'm not a professional player but I'd say I'm decent (played local tournaments / online competitive such as CAL in CS and also SA, was the #1 FPS in Asia in the past). There are several things with redsec that are not observed as much in the BF6 multiplayer mode:
- Redsec/gauntlet is FREE. This means there are players that can make multiple accounts, cheat, etc.
- The redsec/gauntlet playerbase I play with tend to all have greater awareness, skill, etc. vs. multiplayer. This is not me bashing or questioning your ability to play, but it is something that is very apparent due to the need to have map awareness, better engagement timing, etc.
- Many players that play battle royals in the past are also playing here, so there are players that can be pretty good when they start. My first game I got second place for instance. Could've been luck, could've been having a great squad, but I'm just citing an instance.
I do agree with you in several things such as: the ability for PC players to not have to play with console players. Anti-cheat could always be better, but that can be said in nearly all online FPS games. In my experience, I have hadn't any issues with controller players but I have seen several cheaters.
