As the title says, I tried to refund the BF6 standard edition yesterday and this morning I received and email from EA saying that my refund could not be processed. The debit card used for the purchase is active and in good standing. Therefore, may I know if this is a known issue or whatever? Is anyone else affected by this?

The refund was not accepted, but was the game returned to your account? Because I initiated a refund 8:30 hours ago, but they didn't process it. After the issue was resolved, I tried to cancel my refund, but I couldn't. It's not showing up in my game library, and I'm completely stuck. I'm trying to open a ticket to cancel my refund, but it won't even open. Last night, I waited 85 minutes on live support, but they didn't connect. Now live support is closed, and I can't connect. I can't get a refund, I can't cancel my refund, and the game is gone from my library.
Hello, the game is no longer in my library. I believe it was deleted shortly after creating the refund case.
So you completely lost your game and you can't get refund too.

I have just verified my Order history on EA's website and it appears as FAILED. Is there a way to see which refund method was selected or start the refund from scratch?

I believe the system works like this: the refund is made to the card you used for payment. So, has the game been returned to the library Ultimately, the refund was unsuccessful, and the game should be added to your library?
Also, when initiating a refund, it already states which card the refund will be made to and where.
Yep! Having a similar issue. I issued a refund but my card wasn’t on my EA account which I assumed was the why I have a “failed” condition status on my refund. I have since added my card to my account and trying to inquire if my refund will reprocess. I talked to a representative in live chat but he just told me they didn’t have enough info and that I should look towards EA social media for updates. I know the game is working now on the EA app but I just want my money back. Never preordering again after this experience.
