Yeah, I also think this feature is necessary.
It really is. "Driver, pull over I can repair" just doesn't work. Especially when there are multiple vehicles on the map and not even the driver of the vehicle knows who's in their vehicle. It's a silly, unnecessary change with this version of the game.
