Sniping feels useless with current bullet physics and weapon choices

Been playing a lot of Recon on Bf6 and the bullets feel slow an clunky with too much trail and cartoonish amounts of drag, and the sniper they’ve given us feels slow and underpowered considering I’m hitting people in the chest sometimes and only hitting for 65-70 damage from 80M away and I’m wondering if anyone else feels this way or similar to me.

  • You're smoking something. I've seen no bullet drop or drag. I can't spawn on half the maps without being bombarded by an entire squad of snipers' glint and being one shot before I even spawn. There's no drag, bullet drop, or suppression against them. The glint isn't the light at the end of the tunnel. It's become a train of bullets.

  • Yeah, I don't understand why they nerfed snipers. A lot of players seems to hate dying from one shot at long range, but to be fair everyone is dying a lot more to other weapons. Snipers are already one of the worst weapons in the game for most situations. The bullet velocity did not need to be nerfed.

Also the amount of weapon sway for snipers makes the weapon absolutely useless for any other classes than Recon. This has to be fixed.

They even nerfed the PSR, which basically no one has been able to use yet.

yes, they nerfed too hard, close range chest level can't one-shot enemy is ridiculous, I have 5 ms ping on average , but still most of time it's just hit marker then get ganged up...

  • Got shot today said 600+ yards. Seems to be working for some.

  • Just gonna throw my 2 cents in here. I personally have been able to get one shots to the chest from full health within 50m or so. It is not consistent for sure, and I kinda like that nobody is one shotting from 600m without headshotting. Seems like a fair tradeoff for having the safety of hiding on the edge of the map. I am surprised at the amount of people who will from a full sprint stop look at me (300m or so away) and headshot me. I suspect people are binding their range finder to their steady aim key (I saw a video of someone saying to do that) and I don't like it. Feels like the kind of shot you should have to earn but whatever. Drop and drag are perfect though. Drop is truly irrelevant,  so long as you have to adjust your scope's zero for every 100m increment it is accomplishing its purpose. Drag I have seen virtually no reason to complain about. as far as your 65-70 damage from 80m, it is clear to me you're using one of the snipers that do 80 base damage at max, so losing 10 damage on a chest shot at nearly 100m doesn't seem far from fair.
