Agreed. Same experience here.
The main issue is that the current matchmaking system is most likely designed to accomodate for high player count regions.
So it prioritizes short match searching times, and putting players into games filled with bots, since in larger regions those bot slots will be filled with players very quickly.
In the case of a region like south africa, is causes problems because almost all of the games we find are slowly filling up with players over the course of the game, and by the time there is a decent amount of players, the match ends and everyone is thrown back into matchmaking to being the process all over.
Please EA prioritize longer search times but being able to fill games with REAL players and not bots
