Since the new update the tanks are even harder to kill don't make it 2042 a tank that use to be one shot with how low it's health was isn't no more it's awful especially when everyone is running engineers it needs to go back to what is was before
It's not a skill issue, it's a design issue. Skill issue belittling people are defending bad (Battlefield) modern gaming philosophy, which decreases meaningfulness of actions. Root issue is automatisation, chaotisation and acceleration of everything. It happens everywhere in real life too, outside gaming world.

Oh don't say things like that you will be told it's a skill issue. Like yes tanks are meant to be strong but if we are talking about realism I would like to know what army can regenerate it's tank health after being out of combat like you said. I agree with you it's less fun now but it's 2026 apparently your not allowed to have your opinion people say your doing it wrong even though I've been playing bf since bad company days and have always used an RPG it's my thing, so I know I'm not doing anything wrong haha. You driving them off the cliffs is funny ngl haha that's amazing. The bots knowing where you are in the smoke is crazy I'm like if we can't see they can't see I always call the bots cheaters just as a joke to my friends and I because it's a game so no I don't take it seriously but when tanks are like that it's frustrating.
No literally the bots can be insane my friends and I always have a few games on bots to just warm up and the bots are on something being able to see through smoke or you point at one and they all shoot you, your like ah yes that's absolutely how that works haha
Not with the health regenerating it definitely doesn't take 3 shots I can assure I wasn't doing it very very wrong. This update isn't as bad I will admit and it does depend on how the full team is playing sometimes but it definitely doesn't take 3 shots with any of the gadgets that I have tested
Yes tanks are meant to be strong I know but if we are talking about as it 'should be' the vehicles shouldn't be regenerating it's health after so long out of combat. That's not how it should be. I don't care about dying to a tank of I do then I do it's not the problem. Yes keep them strong that's what tanks are for but at the same time there has to be balance throughout the whole game.

Theres taking a beating and then there is barley being able to destroy it in the games I have played me and my friend couldn't kill it with 6 rockets each
Considering it takes 3 shots in the back to get an MBT, you and your friend were probably doing it very, very wrong.
Land vehicles are in the best place they've been since release. They're hardly indestructible, I blow enough of them on foot, or get blown up enough when in them. They're a menace that can be taken care of with some patience and positioning, they just can't be erased instantaneously when their driver is careful.
That's as it should be.
And I would seriously question what "before" you are referring to. If we're talking about how they were at release, then no, absolutely not. They were tin coffins, drivers did not dare get close to the enemy, it was the most boring tank play Battlefield had ever produced. And if you're talking about before the latest changes, well, tanks were considerably stronger then, so let's assume that's not what you meant.

Quads is different cause you habe less people to defend. But if one wants to have a full out war like in breakthrough. It is different. More people defending the tank plus if a bot is driving the rank they retreat and heal up then return as well as kill u after dploying smoke because they can see through the smoke. The bots driving know where you are when a human driver cant see you.
Agreed! It used to be fun! Now I dont even wanna play anymore because it has become all about tanks! Its stupid as hell that they can run away and regenerate as well as the difficulty in destroying them! It is single handedly ruining the game. People want a 1st person shooter game and tanks take away from that because the whole time you have to devote everything just to destroying a tank. Intead of defending the objective you have to constantly target the near impossible to destroy tank. 6 rockets and you still cant destroy one. When u do get close, they now run away, heal up, then come back! I can not express how stupid this is and has become! Im sure im not alone. I have gone as far as recently being on tbe attacking team and jumping in every tank during the game and driving them all off the cliff just so the 2 teams can have an old fashioned shootout! Actually made the game fun for a while and no on complained about me doi g it on either team. The bots drive the tanks and know where you are and kill you even when they cant see you. They know right where you are. It sucks big rooster!
Yeah the Infantry Vehicle balance is extremely frustrating, its basically impossible now to destroy a tank without a full squad but the tank can happily farm everyone yay...
