I don't think that you could ever come to a conclusion about what is balanced or not, if you keep blaming everything on luck. No matter how many rockets come flying your way, it's not like you have no control over where you get hit. A good tank driver positions the tank in a location where they don't easily get surrounded by hostile infantry. This means that most RPGs will be shot at the front, where the tank has no real weak spots and has the strongest armor.
Not everything but after watching those vids it explains a lot
Unless you stay at main spawn and try snipe people getting surrounded in BF6 is just part of the deal, that’s why I think some of these weaknesses which are obvious bugs need fixing.

I think good tank drivers are perfectly capable of staying alive for extended periods of time. They may eventually make a mistake and get punished because of it, but that's completely fine. As long as you keep moving and making yourself hard to hit, you're not going to be hit in a weak spot every single time.
If there are specific spots that take more damage than they should, then yes that should be fixed. But there are also deliberate weak spots like the broken panel on the side, that should definitely stay.
I just see too many bad tank drivers that just drive forward into a group of enemies only to instantly die. I also see too many tank drivers that get shot at and they just don't even move, they just keep tanking the damage until they eventually die. At some point, it's just a matter of getting better at the game.
