What? Lol
Do you even like battlefield? Because Battlefield has tanks in maps like that.
Also, Siege may be one of the easiest maps to limit the effect of tanks by a team that knows what they are doing. Because of the buildings, Tank Sniping from near spawn is almost pointless, so tanks have to expose themselves to have an effect; there are plenty of flanking routes to get behind tanks and hit them where they are vulnerable. Due to being stuck on roads pretty much, mines are easy to place to ensure tanks have to deal with them or get destroyed by them.
Honestly, I'm more impressed by tank crews that can keep a tank up for a long time in Siege of Cairo or Iberian Offensive. Urban combat is not the ideal place for armor, without a huge amount of infantry support.
Wait...are you just trolling? Was that sarcasm?

No need for tanks in small close quarters maps like Siege Of Cairo. It's really stupid!!!

"Consider that not everyone wants to play AT."
So, you admit it is a choice, that there are options to deal with it (many of them actually), and you are choosing to make yourself weak to it.
Off the top of my head, things that can take out a tank:
- RPGs (any class can pick up).
- Engineers Starting Launcher (which also applies a mobility debuff).
- C4 (any class can pick up).
- Other launcher that can drop (forgot the name, any class can pick up).
- Recon Drone self-destruct.
- Recon Drone bomb drop.
- AT Mines (any class can pick up)
- Acoustic Mine (any class can pick up)
- Repair Torch
- Any player getting within interaction distance of the tank (any class can do this).
- Airstrikes (any class can pick up)
- Artillery (any class can pick up)
- Anti-vehicle Grenades (any class can pick up)
- HE Grenade Launcher against very low health tank
I'm sure I missed some. Maybe try learning how to properly play AT (I suggest large map conquest) and you will see that tanks are pretty much driving coffins to someone that knows what they are doing, unless that tank has proper infantry support (repairs and people watching for attacks from all angles).
FYI, mines get more and more dangerous as the circle closes down, because there is less and less room for the tank to manuever.

Frustrating as hell tbh. Just make it like firestorm in BFV where you need a driver and a gunner. The main problem is not killing them its how quickly they can down you on rotation from ages away. There should be no cheap kills in BR

I just had a game with 2 tanks gatekeeping. I found 3 anti-vehicle drops. 2 of them were empty and one was a weapon drop instead. What a joke.

The point is - you got lucky - if you didnt get to those drops you are basically screwed. Consider that not everyone wants to play AT.

Why don't you try listening to what they say instead?
I just finished a match where there were two anti-tank supply crates 150 meters apart (in boutique zone). My teammate and I were engineers. When we saw not one but two tanks, we took them down immediately. It only cost us 3 armors.I repeat, learn how to play and use the brain.

Oh yes those missiles so easy to collect right? Why don't you learn to discuss rather than just shut someone down with the 'Learn how to play'.
This is why multiplayer gaming is dying - too many trolls.

I'm sorry I can't agree. People basically abusing tanks.
I've noticed that practically nobody repairs tanks in REDSEC so they are extremely easy to take out, even solo. Not really worth 3ish missions to obtain in my opinion, especially when the game automatically drops anti-vehicle caches for players
