I play from a smaller market (Oceania) and one of the major issues of BF2042 was finding an active game, due to insufficient player numbers.

The new backfill system on official servers is a godsend!

For those that were unaware, once you get into the squad screen, if there are insufficient players to start a game, wait for less that 3 minutes and the game will backfill with bots so the game can start. New players will replace bots as the game progresses.
