The Biggest Problem Excessive Game Speed and Poorly Designed Small Maps
It is disappointing to see that Battlefield has drifted away from what made the franchise truly great. Battlefield 6 is far too fast-paced, sacrificing tactical depth and realistic immersion for chaotic, arcade-like gameplay.
Based on community discussions, approximately 85% of players are dissatisfied with the game’s excessive speed. This is a significant indicator that cannot be ignored. As long as the game maintains this rushed tempo, Battlefield will continue to lose its identity and player base.
Please reduce the overall game speed to the level of Battlefield 1 or Battlefield 4.
Both of these titles struck the perfect balance between immersion, strategy, and pacing — a balance that defined the essence of Battlefield. If Battlefield 6 were adjusted to a similar tempo, most players would be far more satisfied and likely return to the game.
Additionally, many of the current maps are too small and poorly designed, leading to chaotic engagements and the near elimination of team-based strategy. Battlefield has always stood for wide, strategic, and immersive combat zones — not confined, fast-paced arenas.
Battlefield is supposed to represent tactics, teamwork, and atmosphere — not speed and chaos.
For the sake of the franchise’s integrity and longevity, we strongly urge the developers to slow down the gameplay and revisit map design with the spirit of classic Battlefield in mind.
