p1man0206_OYYB I completely understand your point of view, and honestly I agree with part of it. If vehicles are constantly getting destroyed right after spawning or getting stolen directly from the HQ, then clearly something is going wrong somewhere in the team balance and coordination.
But at the same time, I personally don’t think the HQ should become a completely untouchable safe zone where players can sit with zero pressure or risk. In my opinion, if the enemy is able to push all the way into your HQ and attack vehicles there, that usually means there is already a bigger problem happening on the battlefield. It often means some players are not doing their role properly.
Engineers already have access to anti-air equipment, and on many maps with heavy air presence there is usually mobile AA available as well. At some point, players also need to react and counter what the enemy team is doing instead of relying entirely on HQ protection systems.
Back in BF3 and BF4, situations like this could absolutely happen. Players knew there was always a risk of enemy aircraft or vehicles pushing close to spawn areas, so people stayed alert and adapted. Nowadays, a lot of players stay deep inside the HQ because they know they are fully protected from almost everything.
That said, I do agree there needs to be limits. I’m not saying the enemy should be able to freely farm the HQ without consequences. The goal should be finding a balanced middle ground that prevents abuse from both sides.
For example:
- If vehicle stealing is a major issue, DICE could simply make enemy vehicles impossible to enter while they are inside the HQ area.
- For aircraft getting destroyed immediately during takeoff, maybe planes could receive a very small temporary health boost right after spawning to reduce abuse and give pilots at least a chance to react.
So overall, I think the ideal solution is balance — not total HQ invulnerability, but also not complete freedom for enemies to endlessly camp spawns either.
