The game should tell players that movement and spraying affects bloom.

Yes, there are a couple spread bugs (such as high spread when exiting sprint), but overall bloom is in quite a good state IMO. I have 15,000+ kills with ARs, 3+ KD, and am enjoying the depth of this mechanic.

90% of players are just completely unaware that moving increases bloom, and/or unaware of burst-firing or tap firing as a mechanic. They full-dump their mag while strafing at full speed in a medium or long-distance fight, and wonder why their shots don't hit.

These mechanics are great, and not new, but the game needs to have like a 10 second intro video explaining this to players. At longer distances, you don't want to be full-running and spraying.

Imagine if 90% of CSGO players didn't understand that moving affected accuracy. That's the situation we have right now because the game never explains these mechanics.

I really hope the bloom mechanics stay (especially the penalty for running and spraying), and don't get removed because of the complaints. Movement is meant to have tradeoffs and it adds depth and realism.

Not saying movement shouldn’t affect accuracy, but a lot of what people are feeling right now isn’t “intended bloom,” it’s busted behavior. DICE/devs have already acknowledged multiple dispersion/bloom issues beyond the beta bug and said they’re working on a hotfix  plus they’ve confirmed the ghost bullet problem is real (hits registering visually with no damage). That’s not player education; that’s bugs.

You can also see players flagging the sprint-out ADS spread being way higher than stationary ADS even when timing shots, which lines up with spread not resetting correctly after certain animations  again, bug territory, not “depth.”

So yeah, teach burst/tap firing, sure but the inconsistency (identical inputs ≠ identical results) is why people are frustrated. But fix the spread recovery, animation desync, and ghost bullet issues first. Once those are consistent, then we can actually talk about bloom as a mechanic instead of a flaw.

    - Also nice kill amount i'm about the same😉

I'm aware of the spread staying huge for a second after exiting sprint, and ghost mag has happened to me twice, but I really think most of the complaints are not because of these bugs. Watch an average player's gameplay. They full dump entire mag while strafing.

Like, there are tons of people saying anything besides SMGs are unusable because of the bloom. It's them not understanding the game. I'm seeing this mythology everywhere that whole classes of weapons are "unusable because bloom" and its absurd.

Maybe it vaulting or jumping has a bugged reset too, but I've had almost zero problem with bloom besides the sprint thing.
