The overall match balance is completely tilted

In the very first rounds of Battlefield 6, the balance felt fantastic—matches were close, and every team seemed to have a fair chance. I think this was mostly because everyone was still learning the game.
Now, 2.5 weeks in, the balance has completely shifted. Either you dominate the enemy team by at least 500:0 (or more), or you get utterly steamrolled.

As a squad, I think we play pretty well. We’re constantly on the objectives, reviving teammates, providing support, playing our classes as intended, and earning solid points. Yet, we still lose almost every game by a massive margin. A single, even well-coordinated squad doesn’t seem to have a meaningful impact on the outcome of the match.

We’re by no means exceptional players, but we’re not bad either. Even though the game is still fun overall, losing four out of five matches feels exhausting and unfair over time.

  • Agree. When I can tell its going to be an awful match, I just back out now. I want to lose close. Not 600-0 on Conquest.

In some game modes DICE made changes to correct imbalance... They added tanks and choppers to rush and breakthrough (ridiculous) and made it so they can keep spawning more each sector even though they survive the previous one (incompetent) so you can end up with (and I saw) a team with 4 tanks and a chopper vs an enemy with 1 tank.

    They are clueless.

Also I think players of a certain 'type' have worked out the meta weapons and how to abuse certain settings and attachment bugs. Also those players are well suited to the pace and design of BF6 unfortunately very 'comfy' for players of certain franchises.

Re. balance those players are uninterested in objectives, so once a game goes one way there isn't the PTFO power/desire for a comeback.

Also there's the stupid challenges that are seeing people not ptfo while they struggle to get them done. Most people are too self-centred to only do them in games where their team is winning and doesn't need them to help.

And I also suspect EA/DICE are using their patented (it's literally patented) win-lose sequence retention algorithm rather than actually attempting to make team balance give fair sides.

They published that they think players (the mass market players) stay playing longer if they get a win every now and again even if it's a landslide more than if they have to struggle in close matches.

They ignore that most mature Battlefield fans would prefer a close game win or lose, then a one-sided victory.
