The settings system in Battlefield 6 isn't even as good as the previous game.

Nowadays, almost all the game settings in Battlefield 6 are aimed at so-called uniqueness.

1. Whether it's the maximum size of the minimap or changing its zoom in-game via the keyboard, it's worse than any Battlefield game after Battlefield 3 and before Battlefield 6.

2. In terms of sensitivity, it's completely different from all other Battlefield games, including Bad Company 2, which greatly increases the time needed for longtime players to adapt to Battlefield 6. At the same time, it doesn’t really allow new players to more finely adjust their sensitivity when starting the game—I just don’t understand the point of doing this.

3. Regarding FOV, it's even more unacceptable, because even the old Battlefield 3 and Bad Company 2 could have their maximum vertical FOV set to 105 by modifying files, but in Battlefield 6, you can only set it to 89 at most, which is a huge reduction.

4. Why can’t we choose whether the ADS view is on or off in this generation? Does this bring any real benefit for newbies playing or for veterans adapting?

In the end, I want to say that restricting players so much in Battlefield 6 when it comes to their personal gaming preferences is extremely stupid, and it doesn’t help the Battlefield theme at all. I hope that in future updates, the developers can not only adjust the gunplay but also change the limits on the settings options.
