I haven't had any issues with the engineering class, but I am fairly lucky to be in a full squad thats all willing to take objectives/take down vehicles whenever necessary. Whenever we see a tank, it gets blown up instantly since everyone coordinates the RPG's on the tank. I think the issue is that the game lacks such coordination, player's caring mostly about k/d, weapon farming, etc., rather than trying to win. If the entire team really wanted to win, those tanks would be wiped out instantly. I think you get a mix up squads that are willing to do work and others that are not. Balancing that is pretty tough imo.
