The Worst Possible Way to Use a Transport Helicopter

Supply crates can be mounted on the roof of transport helicopters, and by using the ground-lock-on launchers from seats 4 and 5, you can attack ground vehicles virtually indefinitely.
Since the lock-on is initiated from high above—far higher than a building’s rooftop—any attempt to escape is futile, ensuring the vehicle is destroyed without fail.
I think this upsets the balance of power—what do you think?
Personally, I believe gadgets other than repair tools should be prohibited in seats 4 and 5 of transport helicopters.

  • This requires someone to permanently remain on the pilot seat in order for them to prevent a random noob from spawning in and flying away. Anything that needs at least 2 coordinated people is already unlikely to happen

If people can aim down bellow from the seats 4 and 5, it also means that people bellow can also aim at them.
How many rockets can you take?

I agree with UP_Hawxxeye coordinated teamwork is already rare in BF6 so I see this as a non-issue and even applaud the inventiveness👏 This is the OG Battlefield spirit!

Apart from having a permanent pilot, he also needs to coordinate his flight with the passengers in order to lock-on to ground vehicles, this means he will need to keep his helicopter steady for an extended time, and as such making it an easy target for RPG or counterfire from the ground vehicles.

Maybe you haven't played the previous Battlefield games,

and the ammo was stored inside the passenger cabin.

This allowed an engineer and a support team to be on the transport helicopter or a Littlebird.

    It was highly productive teamwork.

Also because passengers take damage and consume ammo, so it's only right that they heal or refuel on a helicopter.

In fact, I'd say we should go back to that mechanic of placing the ammo and health crate in the cabin.

I think standard matchmaking is generally effective, but in the Asian (Japanese) region where I play, there have been reports of 10- to 20-player parties organized by streamers and certain groups, many of which consist of players who are skilled at piloting vehicles.
In this environment, if players can fire lock-on launchers from transport helicopters, it becomes virtually impossible to counter them.
This might have been fine in previous games, but since I believe there are far more players experiencing *Battlefield* for the first time in this installment compared to past ones, I think this issue needs to be addressed to help turn beginners into *Battlefield* fans.

I play in Asia (Japan), and since I only do this kind of unconventional play when I’m in a party with friends, our coordination is flawless. The pilot is always a player with the skill to dodge guided launchers perfectly, no matter how many times they’re fired at, so it’s not easy to shoot us down.
Even if you could target us from below, the pilot is so skilled that we really don’t go down.
And even if a launcher does hit us, since we’re playing in a party, we have repairs available, so it’s still hard to take us down.

Of course, there are counterattacks from RPGs and ground vehicles.
But is it really that easy to shoot down a transport helicopter flying at extremely high altitudes with an RPG?
Is it easy to shoot it down with a tank’s main gun?
Is it easy to shoot one down with an IFV’s TOW missile?
Even if an anti-aircraft tank were to target it, the helicopter players I know who play in Asia (Japan) aren’t the kind who can be easily taken down.

I use aim guided missiles these days (both the SRAW and the ones on vehicles) and I slowly get better at them,

I probably cannot do much alone, but this is the cue for the rest of the team to get off their lazy butts and to focus fire the heli to to damage faster than it can be repaired
